There is a very relevant talk from Dr Mark Howard on ‘being ordinary’ that beautifully explains the wellbeing that comes from seeing through the social constructs and expectations that we (innocently and unconsciously) co create and then live from.
Living from a constructed expectation immediately takes us away from how life really is and we constrain our lives within these expectations. This creates contexts and conditions for stress and anxiety – as we can see from the way our lives appear to be in these 24/7, always connected times.
So please take some time to listen to Mark Howard talking about being ordinary.
